Defensive Pistol I and II

Required Items

  • Pistol (Semi-Auto preferred)

  • 150 rounds Approx

  • Appropriate holster for Pistol

  • At least two magazines for Pistol

  • A backup magazine retention device

  • Sturdy Belt

  • Eye and Ear Protection

  • Closed-toe shoes

  • Water bottle (water is provided but no cups)

  • Utah Non-Res Firearm Permit Application (DPI Only)

    • Optional if you are interested in your Utah CFP​

    • Valid for one year from date of course

Range Night

Open Range 

Basic Details:

​

You will be paying for an RSO/Instructor at Colorado Firearm Academy to observe your own personal training. Shooting lanes will be spaced to allow each shooter approximately 48 sq ft of space to draw, move, reload, fix malfunctions, and shoot.  You will be able to shoot from a Maximum of 7 yards and a minimum of 3 yards.  A maximum of two people per shooting lane at any given time.

Items Provided by CFA:

  • Target stand 

  • Target backer

  • One Standard silhouette or IDPA Target (additional targets for $1 each)

  • Bucket for brass


Required Items:

  • A means to attach Targets to Backer (No Staples allowed)

  • Eye and Ear Protection

  • Closed-toe shoes

  • Water bottle (water is provided but no cups)

Permitted Items:

  • Pistols

  • FMJ/HP Ammo

  • Holsters

  • Paper Targets

  • Shot Timers

  • Tables


Prohibited Items:

  • AR Style/5.7 Pistols (due to close proximity)

  • Any nonpaper targets (steel, clay pigeons, rubber targets, etc)

Terms and Conditions - Registration, Cancellation, and Refund Policy:
1. a.No refund or exchanges will be made for any cancelation requested by the client.
b. If event is canceled by CFA a full refund will be issued.

2. CFA reserves the right to remove any individual or group at any time that is causing a dangerous situation to themselves or others around them.  If CFA removes a party no refund will be issued.
